Yesterday evening Coach, an American leather brand, celebrated its 75th anniversary at Pier 94 in New York City with a fashion show for women and men and a party that was complemented by guest DJs Lolawolf and Ronson. The evening was a celebration of the successful reinvention of Coach for a new generation of luxury loving customers in a year that saw many significant accomplishments including the opening of its first iconic global stores Coach House on Fifth Avenue in New York And on Regent Street in London, as well as the relocation of its headquarters to the city's newest exclusive address, 10 Hudson Yards.

The women's pre-fall 2017 collection and the fall 2017 men's collection were presented in front of a crowd of participants and guests such as actors Drew Barrymore, Dree Hemingway, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Emma Roberts, Michael B Jordan, Hopper Penn, Laura Harrier, Hari Nef, Olivia Culpo, Rowan Blanchard, mannequin Jordan Barrett, musicians Diplo, Mark Ronson, Dua Lipa and Soko, stylist Brad Goreski, artist Arden Wahl and Creators Pamela Love and Peter Copping.

On the podium, executive artistic director Stuart Vevers presented a vision of American optimism and the cool attitude of the West Coast mingled with New York individualism. Retro-nostalgic motifs - space program, spaceships and planets - were married with details of sheepskin, leather and reminiscent of the academic spirit. He explored the tension between hardness and gentle femininity with an innocent and playful charm of patchwork country dresses, delicate floral buttons, trompe-l'œil curves and boldly proportioned shoes with details in the blink of an eye, Eye to the magpies. The new bag of the season made its first appearance: it is a leather bag resistant like a glove-tanned and called "The Bandit". Mannequins such as Gabriel Day-Lewis, Dilone, Winnie Harlow, Binx Walton and Lexi Boling marched on a podium that was inspired by a car park of vintage cars and snow, and the Young People's Choir of New York Has performed a special version of "Empire State of Mind," the modern hymn of Coach's cradle.

Mr. Vevers commented, "New York, the spiritual homeland of Coach, is a cultural melting pot that adopts individuality and celebrates living together. It welcomes foreigners, like me, honestly and without constraint. These values are more important than ever, and resonate with our goal of making Coach the authentic modern alternative of luxury. "

The mascot of the house, the dinosaur Rexy the Coach, also appeared during the show, on pieces from an exclusive capsule collection for the holidays, which will be available from December 9 at Coach House on Fifth Avenue and Coach .com.

Victor Luis, President and CEO of Coach, Inc. said, "We are delighted to celebrate Coach's heritage and history, which speaks of an innovative craft in the city where we were born. This year has been filled with incredible milestones and we look forward to bringing the unexpected to our customers around the world in the next 75 years. "
