The Closing Ceremony of the 62nd Monte-Carlo Television Festival took place this evening, and presented by American Gods star actor Ricky Whittle and French content creator Léna Situations, in the Salle des Princes, where the winners of the famous Golden Nymphs were announced.
The winners, selected from 18 nominated programs and 13 countries represented in the Fiction, Documentary and Current Affairs categories, as well as the Prince Rainier III Special Prize, received their award in the presence of H.S.H. Princess Charlene. Other distinctions were also awarded, including the Public Prize, in partnership with BetaSeries, the Monegasque Red Cross Prize and the AMADE Prize.The Nymphe d'Honneur, the Festival's highest distinction, awarded to a renowned professional for his exceptional contribution to the entertainment industry, was presented by Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene to Howard Gordon, screenwriter and Hollywood producer at the origin in particular the series X-Files, At the borders of reality, 24 hours chrono, Homeland and Accused.
A rich and exceptional program of in-competition and out-of-competition screenings, in preview (4 world, 4 international, 1 European and 2 French), presented by actors, studios, streaming platforms, production companies and talented screenwriters. A large number of fans and more than 210 personalities took part in the 62nd edition, dividing their time between the 32 interactive public events, autograph sessions, conferences, shooting secrets, make-up sessions, meet-ups, press activities, with more than 1500 interviews.
