Cindy Crawford retires from supermodelling at the age of 50

3 February 2016

Cindy Crawford has been one of the most iconic supermodels of all time and a 90s style great figure. Now, time have passed and 90s supermodels turned into business women, writers, remaining at the same time in the attention of the lens.

For Cindy Crawford, though, the lens will remain her friends but not as a supermodel. She quits her carreer before turning 50 on February 20.

"I'm sure I'll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore and that's OK. I've done it. I've worked with all of these incredible photographers. What else do I need to do? I can't keep reinventing myself. I shouldn't have to keep proving myself. I don't want to." , the supermodel said.

She ended her career as it should: by starring for a fashion campaign: Balmain Spring Summer 2016.

The supermodel released, last year, the book "Becoming" as a retrospective to a lifetime successful career.
