Cannes Film Festival has been evolving more under a feminine side. But for the Charles Finch Dinner at Hotel Eden Roc, Cap d'Antibes, the event had a strongly manly side, too. Mick Jagger, Clive Owen, Jack O'Connell were among a few names present at the event celebrating the documentary filmmaker Nick Broomfield.
Nick Broomfield who is best known for "Battle for Haditha", a documentary about Irak and its crimes and "Kurt and Courtney" which investigated the circumstances of Kurt Cobain's death is currently working for another celebrity investigation. The new documetary is on Whitney Houston.
The ambiance from the event was quite pleasant with a lot of humour and good vibes. Along with it, it was an art exhibition called "The Art of Behind the Scenes" showcasting photographers like Dennis Stock or Douglas Kirkland.
