The French director, Virginie Viard found the best place for her new cruise collection, none other than Monte Carlo Beach club where glamour and stars are a routine. Also, a place very dear to the latter designer, Karl Lagerfeld who rented Villa La Vigie, next to it, for more than a decade. It is a neo-classical villa built in 1902. He was an habitual of the Royal house and a very good friend with Princess Caroline.

There was a photo studio set up on the terrace and my mother was dressed in a sumptuous midnight blue ballgown embroidered with sequined stars, and Karl was taking her picture. I remember being literally dazzled by her beauty and by the magical and joyful atmosphere that reigned in this house," she said cited by wwd.
