The highest building in the world, the highest fashion in the world. At least, this is what Karl Lagerfeld says about the Cruise 2015 fashion collection in Dubai.

Gabriele Chanel, the founder of the brand, was not really into Oriental style, but Karl Lagerfeld thinks he continues with what Coco Chanel would have done nowadays.

Modernist Oriental fashion vision of Karl Lagerfeld

"A romantic idea, without any folkloric touch, of an Orient of my imagination of the 21st century," Karl Lagerfeld explained the collection. A vision that includes a lot of patterns and embroideries, a style that is full and thick, that is graphic and chic. The 70s hairstyles projected a bohemian look to the outfits mixed with glamour and groovy vibe.

Celebrities like Dakota Fanning, Frida Pinto, Tilda Swinton came to the show.

"The collection was like a magic carpet ride, very fantastical," said Tilda Swinton.

From heat to cold, Chanel is said to prepare its next show on Austrian lands for the Metier d`Art in December.
