The language of roses acts as an universal sesame, it crosses borders and continents. In the name of rose, the hearts beat, the botanists marvel, the creators blaze. The Home Piaget chose rose as an emblem. It tells its story.

Roses, always influenced the life of Yves Piaget, and the history of its famous Home. The passion for these amazing flowers is rewarded in 1982, when the laureate of competition, created by the home Meilland, the famous horticulturist, is called« pink Yves Piaget». A legend had been born! An unique appointment for an unique rose.

Yves Piaget's love for roses

In homage to this rose and to the collection of jewellery which became the inspiration, the first "Piaget Rose Day" took place 13 juin2013. It is celebrated across the world to become the annual rendezvous of the brand. Twinkle in spring, hymn in rose. With this occasion, animations and events will be organised and will be staged in Piaget boutiques worldwide or in magical places. Sculpted Rose, openwork rose, pink lace, in turn moving, delightful, soft, childish or glamorous, finery iconic jewellers, charmentet fills with wonder.

From May 16th, Piaget organises a competition on its Facebook page. An application will be set up inviting the fans of the brand to send messages around rose to their fellows. The winning will be the internaut who will have deposited the nicest evidence. Once sent, the message will be transformed in rose before going to be situated on a card of the world permetting to identify the origin of every evidence. The fans will any time be able to read the sent messages and appreciate speech. Piaget will reward the winner by inviting him in Geneva to the workshops of the brand. An unique experience will wait for the winner, whose topic will be the exploration of rose across 5 senses.

The brand reserves nice surprises to celebrate this date. We already know that in Paris, the "Piaget Rose Day" was celebrated by a private concert of Melody Gardot in a secret held place around the place Vendôme. Melody Gardot, muse of the collection Piaget Rose sang "La Vie en Rose" reinterpreted for the brand.
