The wedding dress of Elisabeth Taylor was created by Helen Rose as a gift from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Helen Rose also created the dress for Grace Kelly on her wedding with Prince Rainier.

Elisabeth Taylor was 18 years old back then. In the 50s, it was the event of the year with a wedding with more than 700 guests, a wedding that could see 'more stars than there are in heaven' as MGM declared.
