Cedric Grolet Brings His Delights to Saint Tropez

Saint Tropez welcomed a new culinary gem today with the grand opening of pastry chef Cedric Grolet's boutique in partnership with Airelles. Nestled in the heart of this coastal paradise, the boutique promises to tantalize taste buds and delight dessert aficionados with its exquisite offerings.

Renowned for his mastery of trompe l'oeil fruits and innovative pastry creations, Cedric Grolet brings his unparalleled talent to Saint Tropez, infusing the coastal town with a touch of sweetness and sophistication. At the forefront of the launch are Cedric's essential trompe l'oeil fruits, including the vibrant yellow lemon, expertly crafted to deceive the eye and tempt the palate.

But the excitement doesn't stop there. In celebration of the boutique's opening, Cedric unveils a range of exclusive creations inspired by the flavors and essence of Provence. From the iconic Tropezian flower to the delicate calisson and the refreshing melon, each pastry pays homage to the region's rich culinary heritage, offering a symphony of flavors that transport the senses to sun-kissed landscapes and fragrant orchards.

« It's my first boutique in the South and we wanted to reunite all the three concepts from Paris: the coffee shop, the flower shop at the Opera and the fruits at Le Meurice. Here, in Saint Tropez we have them all. »

« Have you prepared something specially for Saint Tropez? »

« I came with the classics that work very well. We will work, also, the local products like The Tropezienne, nougat, specially for Saint Tropez. »

« What are the classicals? »

« Of course the croissant, chocolate bread with cappuccino, the fruit tart, pavlova. I did my first video here for the community that appreciates my work and I offered pavlova to the passers-by for an hour.»

« What would be the next destination, after Saint Tropez? »

« That's a good question. We have already a destination under way but we can't unveil at the moment. » said Cedric Grolet.

Guests visiting the boutique can indulge in these delectable treats to take away or opt for the convenience of click & collect, ensuring that Cedric's creations are accessible to all. The store itself boasts a refined design that seamlessly blends the codes of both the pastry world and the luxury universe of Airelles, creating an atmosphere of elegance and sophistication that invites guests to linger and savor every moment.

For Cedric Grolet, bringing his signature style from Paris to Saint Tropez represents a change of scenery, but not a departure from his culinary roots. With a commitment to excellence and a dedication to his craft, Cedric aims to enchant and delight his clients, ensuring that each bite is a testament to his passion for pastry and his unwavering pursuit of perfection.

As Saint Tropez basks in the warmth of summer and the allure of its vibrant culinary scene, Cedric Grolet's boutique stands as a beacon of creativity and indulgence, inviting guests to embark on a journey of sweet discovery and culinary delight. Whether it's a leisurely afternoon treat or a special occasion celebration, Cedric's pastries promise to elevate every moment, leaving a lasting impression on all who have the pleasure of experiencing them.
