Antoinette Patisserie, a Hampshire based patisserie, introduce what could be heralded as the new cake craze; the cake pop tower. Styled to mimic a traditional wedding cake but offering a modern twist, 'the tower' marries the new trend of cake pops with the more traditional wedding cake. Antoinette's owner Tania Skinner commented "the US has embraced cake pops for weddings and they can make great favours but I wanted to bring a little innovation to the market. Cup cake towers have and still do, offer an ideal single serving option for weddings but the cake pop is growing in popularity. I wanted to offer the cake pop in a more traditional format, so the tower was produced. I haven't seen anything like this in the UK yet, so it is really exciting to bring this to market".
The tower can hold any colour cake pops and Antoinette can produce numerous flavour combinations. The stand can hold up to 500 cake pops, although smaller numbers can be easily catered for. A cutting cake option on the top tier can also be incorporated to allow for the 'cutting ceremony'.
So, will the tower start a new craze? We think so!
