For Bottega Veneta the Resort 2016 collection comes with color and a moving energy. A mix of layers, thick materials, shapes and cuts into a form of city like style. It is a collection that can be worn on a daily basis with a certain touch of citadine chic.
The collection connects the fall runways with bits of patchworks ready to be worn on skirts, on V-neck blouses. The shearlings are there and the pink jacket is a true statement. The loose pants come as a 70s touch and a sort of comfy chic style.
"There's a mood board, obviously, and a desire for color," said the designer Tomas Maier, whose choices in color were shades of pink, orange, red and blue. "Then there is the question of what a woman would need at that time of year."
