Big Reggae Festival 2025 will set the Pinède Gould in Antibes Juan Les Puns ablaze on July 3rd.
A key figure in French-speaking reggae for over 20 years, DANAKIL is on a major summer tour, with a highly anticipated appearance at the Big Reggae Festival on July 3rd.
DANAKIL returns with a new album, "Demain peut-être RELOAD," a reimagining of their last opus with a twist, featuring features and bonus tracks! In this revisited version, the original album takes on a new dimension thanks to the participation of many guests close to the group.
DANAKIL will reunite on stage with GROUNDATION, whose charismatic frontman Harrison Stafford shared the mic with them on the politically charged track "L'ordre des jours" - also featured on the album - a memorable collaboration that promises a vibrant reunion at the Big Reggae Festival.
GROUNDATION: THE INCANDESCENT RETURN OF A REGGAE JAZZ LEGEND. Pioneers of Californian roots reggae, GROUNDATION is back in Europe for a major tour spanning France, Italy, and Germany, with a stop in Juan-les-Pins!
Led by the indefatigable Harrison Stafford, the group has cultivated a unique sonic identity for over 25 years, fusing deep reggae, sophisticated jazz, and powerfully engaging lyrics. Their new album, "Candle Burning," released on May 23, 2025, marks a masterful turning point. Recorded 100% analog in the prestigious ICP Studio in Brussels and mixed by the legendary Jim Fox, the album reflects a pure, vibrant, and timeless sound. The audience will have the chance to discover each piece, which demonstrates a rare musical mastery, both complex and accessible, faithful to the soul of GROUNDATION while nourishing the creative spirit of a new generation of virtuoso musicians.
This concert promises an intense sensory and spiritual experience!
