This journey into the creation of Alberto Giacometti will take place under the sign of wonder. That of Giacometti, facing the "marvelous" reality, as he often says, he who endeavored to represent what he sees around him, without hierarchy: loved ones, objects from his studio, everyday things, landscapes. from his Swiss childhood or the Parisian suburbs.

The scenography of the exhibition, the richness of the works presented will in turn amaze the spectator placed at the heart of the artist's intimacy. The themes favored by the artist - the representation of the head, the face, the female body - will particularly stand out, but we will also discover his relationship to loneliness, melancholy, and his hard work with his models: his wife Annette, his brother Diego, his close friends.

The visitor will thus meet another Giacometti, the one who experiments with the limits of sculpture, and the formidable painter who also practices, alongside the portrait, the genres of landscape or still life.
