Behind the scenes at 65th Festival de Cannes

During the 65th edition of the Festival de Cannes, the Cannes Movie Stars Lounge will be the set of many press activities. In the course of the first days of the Festival the Cannes Movie Stars Lounge has been the meeting area for celebrities, journalists and film professionals. 

Friday 18^th the Lounge hosted two movies. During the morning The Cannes Movie Stars Launge welcomed "Lawless", one of the movies in competition, directed by John Hillcoat with Shia LaBeouf. The American actor met the journalists and granted interviews before the movie première. In the afternoon it was the turn of "Painted skin: The Resurrection", a Chinese movie directed by Kuo-fu Chen. The movie is not in competition and it will premiere in Chengdu, Sichuan June 15^thahead of the national release on June 28^th. James Wang, executive producer of the movie took part in TV junkets in the Lounge. Saturday 19^th the Cannes Movie Star Lounge was the press meeting place for "Antiviral" by Brandon Cronenbergs with Caleb Landry Jones. The movie is part of Un Certain Regard section of this years Cannes Film Festival. But the Cannes Movie Star Lounge is not just a workplace, during this days it was also the set for the birthday party of Michele Placido, an internationally known Italian actor and director, and a meeting place for celebrities such as Isabella Ferrari and Marco Müller the new artistic director of the International Rome Film Festival.
