Elie Saab is the synonime for elegance and pure beauty. The style of the fashion show expressed exactly the feminine line the designer wanted to outline.
A cast of light, simple lines, pure make-up was used in order to capture this.
"Mr. Saab wanted a powerful eye, very feminine, very sophisticated, but very soft at the same time," said the makeup artist Tom Pecheux. The artist used metallic shades with bronze-gold glitter, brown false eyelashes and a bit of coral gloss on the lips.
For the hair, Orlando Pita chose a low ponytail for an easy not too rigid look. "It's very easy; not too strict," he said. Hair was then gathered into a low ponytail, which was twisted like a rope and tied into a low chignon.`
The beauty looks were meant to accessorise the gowns, the focus is always on the fantasy gowns and this is how it should be at Elie Saab.
