Beauty Contests, Women Empowering? Read the Interview about it!

The world of beauty and Miss competitions attire so much young girls and not only that we always ask ourselves how this works, in fact! We spoke with Yulia to get to know more about it!

1. Please let our readers know more about you and what are you doing...

We are 3 partners in the company me (Yulia Berisset), my sister Katerina Santorina and Juliya Delani. Basically, TheGlam Management Group is a PR Centre for ladies who seak for world wide promotion in any spheres of life starting from modelling until any kind of business. Since several years of activity apart of different photo and video projects we invented the annual International Beauty Contest "Madam TheGlam", the Event you attended in Jymmi'z this  August. As well this year we launched Fashion Magazine TOP25 PHOTO MODELS International Edition. It coming out in 20000 copies 4 times per year and covers whole Côte D'Azur including Monaco, Milan, Ibiza (summer time) and Courchevel (winter time) .

2. How the idea of Madame TheGlam Monaco was born?

Actually, beauty and fashion industry is a strong promotional tool. That's was the purpose of creating this Beauty Contest from the very beginning. However, nowadays women's world became so competitive that  its very complicated to make a choice which model or person to choose to work with. "The title" is always rise up level of a girl and makes her to be more wanted in all field of life including social. One year for newly chosen Beauty Queen builds whole her future on the way to be popular and famous everywhere in the world.

From the very first day of our business we are working with mature self -confident women who need to move forward constantly and at one stage there is a point where she needs maximum of exposure and completely new level of popularity, so she is going to participate in this extremely prestigious competition which open lots of new opportunities.

3. What are the beauty criteria for choosing girls and how the selection is made?

The main criteria for all delegates are the  personality and background. Of course, the appearance is not on the last place but still if the inner world is empty it doesn't go with our concept. Normally, the average age of our contestants is 22 -30 yeas old.

We are working with so-called TheGlam Girls. Who they are?

Young, beautiful, successful and mature women with a rich inner world, having their unique personal history, they are constantly moving forward, developing, striving to gain knowledge of the world and themselves! Despite the fact that the girls have already established themselves as independent personalities, they possess deep moral and family values;  

TheGlam Girl means a girl of the new millennium, who is harmoniously developed in all spheres of life, good-looking and attractive, educated and will become even better wife, mother and friend. She is fully self-realized in her life, feminine, always a welcome guest in any company.

Every year we receive more than 3000 requests from girls from all over the world and few weeks before the Finale we complete the list of Finalist with the newly chosen judges. Its, basically, how it works.

4. Where is the competition represented and what is the feedback to it?

Year by year we become more and more popular among different countries throughout the world. Madame TheGlam Beauty Contest has extremely good and clear reputation as delegates who comes until the Final are mostly married, with families and involved in charity. Moreover, when it comes to organize the Event we are doing completely different show in comparison with other Beauty Contests. We are not collaborating with swimwear we prefer haute couture outfits, furs and jewellery brands instead. We are working with the best photographers, make up artists and stylists. This year we were supported by Lebanese Haute Couture Designer Gaby Charbachy, he also was a member of the honourable Jury. Women are happy to be part of the Event because of unforgettable top-level experience which we organise for them.

5. Is Monaco a good market for this kind of competition?

Monaco is very special place and to host the Finale here gives to the Contest some special charm and, of course, rise up a level of the Event. Moreover, there is no more similar projects so people are very interested in it and loves to participate in the Event  and support delegates.

6. As a beauty representant, please share with us your beauty tips and your day-to-day style?

Ahhh, you know, there are not so much secrets in fact J I believe that the most important beauty tips are the 8h beauty sleep, take care of yourself and, of course, less stress in your life.

7. What are the future projects related to this or other ones?

We are now concentrated on the TOP25 PHOTO MODELS MAGAZINE and working on the Issue which will coming out very soon! At the end of the year we are preparing Best Photo Models Awards which will take place in Monaco, where the most worthy girls will get their new titles.
