To keep pace with increasing demand and maintain the vertical growth of its production, Hublot inaugurated today its second building: exactly 6 years after opening its plant in 2009. This will double the surface of the production center in Nyon.

The appointment had been taken there a year and a half at the start of construction on the site and ... here we are! On September 29, Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman of Hublot's Board of Directors and President of the LVMH Watches division, and Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, inaugurated the second largest Hublot production building. Three hundred guests from around the world, including ambassadors, VIP guests, brand friends and journalists, were present for the event. Joining them were Bar Refaeli, Lapo Elkann and Pele, the three ambassadors of Hublot, who had traveled to celebrate this milestone in the history of the brand. They attended the session key collection of the old building to the new one. The ceremony, with Pele giving a kick, was followed by a "goal" of Michel Bridge which created a huge Big Bang. He was accompanied by the spectacular arrival of Bar Refaeli who traveled Formula 1 ™ style track between H1 and H2 buildings, as found on Grand Prix circuits around the world and allowing direct access between the two buildings.

This event corresponds to the launching of 73 Hublot stores worldwide in a campaign to mark the 10th anniversary of its flagship collection, Big Bang.

This extension is highly symbolic for the brand: it testifies its expansion and success. 8000 m² of surface on which Hublot will install 100 workstations over the next 5 years! This will give the company a workforce in Switzerland of more than 400 employees. The project represents an investment of 20 million Swiss francs for the company.

This new unit, juxtaposed to the first building, is mainly dedicated to the manufacture of components for manufactured movements and the production of watch cases. The micro-mechanical workshops, all CNC machine tools, decoration workshops, cleaning, electroplating and mechanical engineering, to name a few, have been installed in the new premises in August by the service after sales and part of the administrative division.
