Backstage at Simone Rocha fashion show at London Fashion Week, the beauty looks seemed different and the approach was kind of wet and rebel.
In fact, the idea of the hairstyle and make up was to create glossy tendrils inspired by the performance of the artist Pina Bausch. The hair is styled by using curling tongs and then moulded by the finger to give a different shape to every wave. Then, the hairstylist put the waves onto the faces covering them one half and fixing it by putting the braided strands around the neck.
The makeup was also in the wet style of the hair. Simple, natural, wet. "This is the cool Rocha girl with a hint of a sexual flush and raw, wet skin," said MAC artist Sam Bryant cited by WWD. The skin was shinning by using oil and pink by using blemishers.
