Azzedine Alaïa Couture Fall 2017, a knitty play collection

Azzedine Alaïa Couture Fall 2017 comes with a Fall 2017 collection that is playful in textures, colors and mixes. It is a knitty play collection that outshines the diversity inj combining textures and motifs.

The show was opened by Naomi Campbell in a black and white dress and wearing an African plastic turban. Who else rather than Naomi Campbell to do this?! 

The mix was so real that some may take us to thinking we may see an Art Deco move. Some felt the folk vibe, others got into more glitzy especially with the gown in the finale. The collection had a lot of coats that reminded us of the 60s and also sleeveless knitted dresses, pleated skirts (we believe we should take a pause with the pleated). Te mix between the coat and the pleated skirt created a sculptural look. Not much like the gowns who created that long vertical silhouette look that sublimated feminity.
