Automobile Elegance Competition Monte Carlo

Once integrated to the program of the Rallye Monte Carlo de Voitures Anciennes, its 13th and last edition goes back to September 2001, the Concours d'Elégance Automobile is now officially a part of the events organized by the ACM and will be one of the big news of the summer 2014.

As well as the inevitable international events of Pebble Beach in California and the Villa d'Este in Italy, the Principality of Monaco will now have its own Concours d'Elégance Automobile. In the authentic tradition, between past, present and future, this prestigious event is born with an undeniable desire to rebirth and exhibit the most beautiful cars like models in a fashion show.

Because automotive elegance is also the result of a marriage of skills, an alliance between designers of the largest automotive brands and leading fashion designers, an union that is fantasizing the world for decades and which will always make people dream !

It is thus under the form of a " Classic " weekend that the Automobile Club of Monaco aspires to organize this renownedConcours d'Elégance Automobile, far from the noise of the competitions. It will gather pre-war prestigious cars (1930-1940), post-war cars (1950-60) and cars of today, among which the last concept-cars including hybrid or electric propulsion. In this panel, maximum fifty of the most eclectic cars should seduce numerous collectors and car manufacturers.

The welcome of the main participants is scheduled on Friday, June 27th, 2014 at the Hotel de Paris where they will stay during the demonstration. A real première for the eligible cars and their crews, on Saturday, June 28th, 2014, always in the spirit of the time, will take place a ride in the hinterland between the Col de Turini and the Col de Vence, with a stop for lunch in the respect of the oldest traditions.

But it is really the next day, on Sunday, June 29, 2014, that the event should take all its magnificence and a whole new dimension, on the Square of the Prince's Palace of Monaco. With a static and then dynamic exhibition of the various vehicles allowed to compete, and it is finally, in front of a jury chaired by H.S.H. Princess Charlène, and composed of personalities (automotive and fashion designers, artists...), whose skills will make this event even more symbolic and surprising. And as a finale, to anchor this first event in the history, a sumptuous, unique and prestigious gala dinner will be given inside the Prince's Palace of Monaco.

The beauty of the framework matching the tailor-made case for its precious glorious associated with a particular know-how in terms of hospitality and organization, the event should in no way lacking originality...
