You need to see many other designers who do not have the resonance of a Chanel, Gucci or Louis Vuitton to see the talent and inspiration.
For Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi, the inspiration for the Spring 2015 collection came from visiting Matisse's Chapel of the Rosary in southern France and London's Tate Modern museum.
"It's the balance between beauty and calm, and the contrast between luminous color and opaque matter - that sums up the Chapel," Aquilano declared cited by WWD.
So, it was a game of matte and transparence, of light and color altogether, a certain Matisse blue on sleeveless blue duchesse silk dress, sheer lace dresses, dragonflies and floral motifs embroidered on skirts. All the spring 2015 trends were used: embroidery, prints made in such a way that it was like a dreamy state of mind by wearing them.
It was a mix of applique motifs like on fabrics like natural linen, paper thin leather, organza filling the ambiance with transparency and floaty sensation.
