AmfAR Cannes Gala, an all in red fashion edition

amfAR is one of the most prestigious charity events in the world and each year, during the Cannes Film Festival, is hosting a gala that raises money for the fight against AIDS. 

Sharon Stone is the ambassador of the brand and she always emphasizes the importance of the event. Last editions put in the game a trip with Leonardo di Caprio to space or a kiss from George Clooney.

This year si going to be a special fashion edition around 35 fashion houses like Versace, Prada, Alexander McQueen, Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford, Chanel, Christian Dior, Ulyana Sergeenko, Calvin Klein, Burberry, Alexander Wang, Roberto Cavalli, Armani, Gucci, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Marchesa, Kenneth Cole.

Top models will come to attend the event. "Some of the girls come at their own expense just to be part of the show," said Carine Roitfeld, the superviser of the show.

In the center of the event there will be the icon Marylin Monroe wearing red. Red is the color symbol of fight against AIDS and also a very powerful one. Carine Roitfeld will put together also an exclusive retrospective of Pirelli photos to create more of an exclusivist ambiance.

Great names will be chairing the event from Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc like Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Milla Jovovich, John Travolta. It will be an event filled with glamour, celebrities and a lot of red. Looking forward to see all the red gowns!
