Alexander Wang for Balenciaga

With Ghesquière leaving Balenciaga, it is time for a new fresh name to take its place. The brand chose Alexander Wang to bring a new dimension to it with a more easy to wear approach.

According to sources cited by WWD, the new deisgner for the fashion house will start a collaboration that will implement its style. It is a little bit risky for some who were used with the exclusivist style of Balenciaga, but the brabd seems to want to sell its lines to a larger market.

Alexander Wang is a designer well-known for his groovy T-shirts, studded handbags and an explosive youthful energy. It will remain just to wait and see how his style will merge with Balenciaga's vision.
