Abercrombie & Fitch presents Stars on the Rise

The rising stars are photographed by Bruce Weber for the autumn campaign Abercrombie and Fitch 

Abercrombie and Fitch Co in announcing the selection of the group of rising actors for its countryside Stars on the Rise, on the occasion of the countryside of mark for return.

The casting of this year includes Jacob Artist (Glee), Emayatzy Corinealdi (Middle of Nowhere), Scott Eastwood (Texas Chainsaw 3D), Johnny Ferro (Children of God), James Frecheville (Adore), Taylor Handley(Vegas), Ashley Hinshaw (LOL), Alex Kaluzhsky (Light Years), Alexander Ludwig (The Hunger Games), Lily Rabe (American Horror Story) and Halston Sage (How to Rock) and also the canine stars Uggie (The Artist), Popeye (bulldog American star of the skateboard), Julio (bulldog American star of the skateboard) and Carrie (" The Dancing Dog "). The pictures of the Stars will be visible online, on new APP A&F, and in shops A&F around the world as part of the launching campaign of new Jeans Collection.

Like the last years, the actors were photographed by famous Bruce Weber, and on July 11th, A&F celebrates the launching of the countryside Stars one the Rise during an event in the A&F boutique of The Grove, in Los Angeles.

« Recognising and supporting talents very early in their careers has always been important for us», has announced Mike Jeffries, President and CEO of Abercrombie and Fitch. «We loved working with 11 actors and actresses chosen for this campaign and are impatient to follow their careers». Celebrities having participated in Stars on the Rise in the past include talents of the cinema and singing as Taylor Swift, Channing Tatum, Ashton Kutcher and Penn Badgley.

The line "Back to School" will be revealed on July 13th in boutique and online, and will include the very new line of Jeans which will highlight a broader selection of fits, of fadings and techniques. A new experience of shopping in boutique and online will help the consumers to discover made it and fading improved for them. 

In conjunction with the launching of this line, A&F will throw new App for smartphone available on Apple Store. One of the characteristics of this App is "6 Degrees of Stars on the Rise", an interactive experience which will allow to the users to create a history linking them with their favourite Star on the Rise by scooping out from their Facebook data to create an original story and share it. Application will also allow to the users to insert the faces of their friends on the bodies of the Stars on the Rise.

"Stars on the Rise is a concept which we often used at the beginning of 2000s in our quarterly magazine. We are delighted to rethink this concept with new technologies that make the campaign more fun, appealing and interactive", mentions Mike Jeffries.
