A man who reads: sexy or old fashion?

Men, women, relationships, lifestyle:

A man who reads! What a thought! Still, I'm writing this because I was at the beach seeing a man reading. Young, beautiful blonde hair, squared Ray Bans, red shorts! Who would have thought?! And, still, a Steve Jobs book was on his hands and he was reading. Isn't it sexy, ladies, to see a man reading? Or, is it old fashion?

No time for reading?

We live in the era of "no time", we rush into things and things seem not to rush to us anymore. So, taking the time to enjoy simple things may become for some of us a pure luxury. But, still, people have not lost the pleasure of reading. But, for some, is a waste of their time. I have to live life, not read it - some may say. And, still, they can be done both.

What is so attractive to a man who reads? Is it because he looks more intelectual than he supposes to be (this is a joke, gentlemen) or that he can think of something else rather than his own depth (tricky line)? For me, is as simple as that: a man who enjoys reading is an obvious fact. It is open to new ideas, you can start a conversation on what he read (that in case he understood it - joke) and develop new ideas. I am not used to putting so many "joke" thing on my writing, but I'm afraid that some men who read this might get offensed by not outlining it. And, the lack of humour at any level is a sign of a superficial mind. That may be another reason for reading: it broadens the mind, it opens the eye. And, a man who knows things and has a beautiful mind is much more sexier than a beautiful body package that you can use in the bedroom or catwalk on the streets.

How does the man of our days look like? Does he reads anymore?

And let me assure you that there are out there men who read. The urban style, fulfilled financially or even the young one at the debut of his youthness who is avid to know the world, to connect to as many ideas as possible. I would like to think that this type of man has a sublte and refined mind that can connect better to a woman's soul. If not, I am looking forward to disagreement. But, don't tell me ladies, that a man focused only on his own belly button would appreciate the finesse of ideas.

So, for me, a man reading is not at all old fashion. There is a category that still survives and I hope we will preserve it well. And that category of men are ones with whom you can share: ideas, thoughts, feelings. Others, they need to learn that life is not only physical pleasures on Earth, but also emotional fun ideas beyond that. And a book can stir you, give you emotions, in many ways. Definitely, a man is sexier with a book in his hands!
