Artistic Direction of Monte Carlo Société des Bains de Mer presents on Thursday, February 26, a concert event on the occasion of the 30 years of career of the accordionist Richard Galliano.

Already 30 years! 30 years ago, the most awarded accordionist in the world began a solo career, having worked with many artists of the French song as Claude Nougaro, Barbara, Juliette Greco, Georges Moustaki, Serge Reggiani, Charles Aznavour and Allain Leprest.

30 years since his first album "Spleen" was born with his quartet "New Musette".

30 years to give his pedigree to an instrument that had been relegated to assert the "valse musette".

30 years he sailed with the same happiness in every genre, flirting with salsa, marrying with the tango, never losing his soul, that of his Franco-Italian roots.

A 'bestseller' on Deutsche Grammophon with the Bach Project ', followed by a tribute to Nino Rota and the 4 Seasons by Vivaldi, again for the prestigious German label. And Victoire de la Musique Classique in 2014, as a composer.

Richard Galliano has chosen to celebrate his 30-year career alongside his friends and talented musicians. The repertoire of this quartet will be exclusively dedicated to the best compositions of Richard Galliano the past 3 decades. Thursday, February 26, 2015, as part of an anniversary concert at the Opera Monte Carlo, the accordionist share the stage with drummer André Ceccarelli, bassist Yaron Stavi and guitarist Sylvain Luc, whose latest album duet with Richard Galliano "La vie en Rose", a tribute to Edith Piaf and Gus viewfinder, released January 26, 2015.

Numbered seats price: 30 €
