24 Heures du Mans 2013 Patrick Dempsey live

It is with great honour that Patrick Dempsey is live on WebTV for 24 hours of Mans: the press conference which he will hold on Saturday, June 8th at 2 pm will be broadcast straight and exclusively on www.lemans-tv.com 

The American, world-famous actor for his role in the series Grey's Anatomy, will give a press conference about his participation at 24 hours of Mans 2013. This meeting with media, which will take place within the Circuit of 24 hours of Mans, will be visible live broadcasting and entirety on WebTV of 24 hours of Mans.

Big enthusiast of motorised sports, Patrick Dempsey will compete for running this year in the steering wheel of the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR n°77 hired by the team Dempsey Piero-Proton. He will share the steering wheel with his compatriots Joe Foster and Patrick Long, this last being pilot of Porsche.

As part of their preparation in the running of June 22nd and 23rd of this year, Dempsey and his team will take part in Day Test, big general repetition for the rivals and which will take place on Sunday, June 9th.

It is about the second participation for the American actor in this running which represents for him the ultimate motor racing event having been in a line in 2009 in the steering wheel of a 30th ending Ferrari F430 of the general and 9th classification of its category.

In 2012, the Car Western Club launched WebTV of 24 hours of Mans, meeting a dazzling success since more than 3,2 million internauts followed the race across the world thanks to 28 hours of live broadcasting.

This year, WebTV of 24 hours of Mans changes up a gear, in partnership with Rolex and Michelin. It will allow to follow straight two days of Weighing (technical and administrative checks) on June 16th and 17th but also two trial parties (June 19th and 20th) and the running of June 22nd and 23rd of course. 

A device second screen on which "Mobinautes" will be able to live the competition intensely thanks to the loaded cameras, but also discover the backstage, hear the interviews of the pilots, relive the previous editions, dive in the ambience of festivities linked to 90 years of test, enquire thanks to sets enlivened by famous journalists and prestigious consultants, follow classifications permanently or else react by means of social networks of ACO.

In true support, Patrick Dempsey, along with Joe Foster and Patrick Long will open symbolically the aerial of WebTV 2013 of 24 hours of Mans on Saturday, June 8th from 2 pm till 14 h 30. Appointment on www.lemans-tv.com
