Who will be Philippe Besson's successor this year for his novel Ceci n'est pas un fait divers (Julliard)?

Sponsored and endowed by the City of Nice, the Nice Baie des Anges prize has been awarded, since 1996, to a novel published in the 12 months preceding the Nice Book Festival. Chaired by Franz-Olivier Giesbert, this jury brings together the writers Paule Constant of the Goncourt academy, Irène Frain, Aurélie de Gubernatis, Didier van Cauwelaert, Laurent Seksik, Jean-Luc Gagliolo, Deputy Mayor of Nice, and Nicolas Galup, editor in chief of BFM Nice Côte d'Azur, as well as 10 readers who love books and words.


This Thursday, May 16 at 12:30 p.m., Christian Estrosi will announce the winner of the Nice Baie des Anges 2024 prize, chosen by the members of the jury from a selection of 8 novels:

On this occasion, Christian Estrosi will present the 28th edition of the Nice Book Festival, on the theme of courage, with the exceptional presence of the writer and president of this edition Boualem Sansal.
The Nice Baie des Anges prize will be presented to the winner at the opening of the Nice Book Festival, Friday May 31, 2024 by Christian Estrosi.
