This Friday 27th took place at Meridien Beach Plaza in Monaco the 10th edition of Amber Lounge with its Formula 1 symbols and celebrity from around the globe. It was around charity, fashion, music, stars and glamour that everything evolved.
From the sparkling fringed feathers and sequined dresses to bubbling champagne all over, it was the focus on the pilots catwalking the Amber Lounge podium, the singers, the fashion designers and the charity.
All I can tell you about is the Osman fashion show which was classy and stylish (as for the first part, the "media" access was not too appropriate to suit the best press visibility. The Osman fashion show, though, presented vibrant pieces with classy hats associated with long sculptural dresses. The designer's inspiration was drawn from abstract art, ancient cultures and ethnicity. Its style is suitable for the most elegant looks on a chic and luxurious location, is a timeless collection reminding us of the 50s beauties and styles. The London designer, Osman Yousefzada, dressed celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, J-Lo.
F1 driver Fashion Show was elegant and stylish including Daniel Ricciardo, Jolyon Palmer, Marcus Ericsson, Pascal Wehrlein, Felipe Nasr, Rio Haryanto, Marc Gene and Esteban Ocon who were exclusively dressed in Apsley suits followed by their ladies on the runway. Jenson Button, Pedro de La Rosa and Pastor Maldonado watched from the front row as the children and females of Formula 1 catwalked wearing Osman's collection.
The show continued with the charity raising money for the Amber Foundation. This year, EUR 283,000 were raised to help disadvantaged children have a better future. The items at the charity were My Seanna Yacht, a 56-meter luxury yacht, Yanush Gioielli's jewelry masterpiece, a beautiful portrait of H.S.H Princess Grace of Monaco painted by Hayo Sol, a Bonato Milano 1960 jewelry set, a unique safari travel experience to South Africa's Kruger National Park, kindly donated by H.S.H Prince Albert II and H.S.H Princess Charlene of Monaco, a beautiful Nonos sculpture and an exceptional Isabelle Arpagian golden gepard egg.
Among these presentations, music was all around to cheer up even more. First performance was from Parson James who sang along with the pilots walking on the runway while Jasmine Thomson closed the fashion show along with some stunning dancers. With the song "Ain't nobody", the singer enchanted the crowd.
Among the stars presented at the event in the front rows were the singer Akon, fashion designer Isabelle Kristensen, Game of Thrones Liam Cunningham, singer JC Chasez former N'Sync boy band member, American investor Robert F. Smith, socialites Victoria Silvstedt, Lady Victoria Hervey, F1 Team Personnel from Mercedes, Redbull, Force India, Renault and Haas.
Amber Lounge has the perfect recipe for success: fashion, celebrities, glamour, charity, art in all its beauty. Maybe it needs to work a little bit more for a proper media access and seating for all the journalists!
