Dior Haute Couture Spring 2015 Fashion Show is a mix of cultures and styles from the 50s, 60s and 70s decades. To contrast with the powerful textures, fabrics, embroideries and keep the simplicity line of Dior, the designer opted for nude looks.
The fresh looks were the perfect canvas to show modern simplicity to contrast with the psychedelis prints of the clothing.
"I avoided making an epoch reference in makeup to keep it modern," said Peter Philips, the makeup director. It was used Diorskin Nude Air products with Ultra-Fluid Sérum Foundation, Healthy Glow Invisible Loose Powder and a little bit of blush. For the lips, he used Dior Addict Lip Maximizer.
For the hairstyle, the technique was quite original starting from a ponytail that is bent and linked to a straight cue. The hairstylist Guido Palau came with a metal ring that links the two part into a sleek ponytail effect.
"Though it's classic, there is a ‘Diorness' to it ... a modernity because it has this very simplistic sort of feel," said Guido Palau.
Per all, the fresh look is very appreciated for its modern clean touch and for the simple elegance it show off.
